Mission Statement
We care for children in an environment where learning is fun so that love of learning is the foundation for a child’s life.
Alphabets and Smiles Learning Center also provides affordable high quality child care and learning experiences for children in a safe and caring environment, helping them develop socially, creatively, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Alphabets and Smiles Learning Center will strive to work cooperatively with the community. In doing so, we support families in their efforts to reach their goals.
Our Philosophy
“Meet the Children where they are!” Through play children learn about themselves and the world around them. We offer guidance and encouragement that will meet each child’s individual needs.
It is our number one goal to provide the kind of environment where children aren’t frustrated during learning, but SMILING through their difficulties, the kind of influences that encourage all children to become creative, independent, responsible, well rounded, and self-directed with capabilities of making decisions for themselves as they grow older.
Curriculum
The Creative Curriculum is what we will use to teach the children. It's a play-based learning curriculum that focuses on interest areas and fosters creativity in both children and teachers. Being creative means thinking of new ideas, obtaining information by asking questions, and learning through trial and error. Every year, the curriculum is differentiated to meet the needs of each individual student.
